Behind, she could hear the still angry mob of nobles calling out her name. How does a mob of nobility screams?, well, with a stylish mix of elegance and murder intent, but she wasn’t about to prove it.
Fabricia had wanted some attention, for people to recognize her as something more than the bastard child of Lord Lorenzo Gracci, and by pointing too high in her initiatives, it backfired.
Being in the limelight is not a good thing when the rays that point at you are scorching and damaging, and being in the center of the stage means that everyone can see you and throw rotten tomatoes at your face. And as such she ran away, small bag of belongings in her back, a sword at her side, and just a vague idea of what to do next.
