What up my Steemians, welcome to the @D00k13 Digest, this is a reading of my own work for the @FreeWriteHouse Prompt of the day “Excuses” by @MarianneWest. If you havn’t checked out the five minute #FreeWrite or #FreeWriteHouse as of yet I highly suggest you do so and show the #NaNoWriMo some support, they are putting together a novel in one month which is absolutely insane if you ask me!
I have been participating on and off with the daily prompts and I always enjoy the challenge of writing what I can within the 5 minutes while still being creative. Furthermore I have delegated to the @FreeWriteHouse to support their work on putting that novel together this month allowing for greater upvotes for everyone participating. I hope you enjoy my attempt at reading my own work and that I did not butcher it to badly, not particularly easy for me to read from my ipad and speak at the same time with also trying to hold my phone for recording 😝.

I have no use for excuses,
Keep cuttin’ it loose.
I free my mind,
From the creative noose.
Putting it down,
Like Dr. Seuss.
Like my name says,
Just droppin’ a deuce.
I #freewrite,
No time to reduce.
Only five minutes
So what’s your excuse?
Like my dad says,
He goes by moose.
Theres a good reason,
Against every excuse.

You started it but I’m going to do my part to make it a thing! Why can’t we merge our passions into one? It saves me time and energy while still being creative and working on skills I need for those upcoming readings I want to do! Thinking maybe my first reading of another’s work will be the novel all the #freewriters put together this month 😉

that will be a lot of reading. I think at least 14 of us are pretty much on track to each finish the 50,000 words each. @byn is reaching for 90,000. That is a lot of audio books LOL
Just means lots of material to practice on 😅

Back in the day, my roommates and I would come up with excuses to throw parties. Or is that a reason.... Uh no they were excuses because we never really had reasons.
If you have friends or family that want a steem account, I will create one for you. Hit me up on steem.chat with an account name and I will give you a master key. You will need to change the master or have your friend do it. Hit me up on my blog to remind me to to to the chat. There is no delegation or steem in the accounts.
Let's get real people involved with steem instead of bots.
Lol that is a reason against the excuse of not throwing the party 😉 excuse against the laziness you could say.
Free accounts? That’s awesome I will most definitely hit you up this weekend, I can delegate enough to make the account useable! Trying to get my fiancé to join maybe if I can get her an account then she will start posting pictures at least, she has an eye for it. I will hit you up in the next couple days when I have a free moment.

Haha been together 13... no 14 years now as of the first of last month, took me 11 years to finally propose 🤦♂️ anything worth doing is worth taking the time to do it right, right?
Now to dig myself completely out of debt then we can think about setting a date, should be in the clear by the end of next year!

Awesome glad you enjoyed it, super embarrassing how bad I butchered it but ohh well that’s the learning curve.
What do you think about me attempting to read some one else’s work? #freewrite nanowrimo novel readings? Thinking maybe making it into a promo for the authors and trying to share rewards on the posts. Still thinking it through.
