"Ooze" #freewrite
The ease of the ooze
It seeps
A spring leaking gently from the mountainside
A watershed hidden
Just this dampening glisten
Can it pool?
Pool the ooze, gather its waters
Pipe it, dam its rocky basin.
Primordial slime renders deserts green
Just an ooze,
Becomes an oasis
A pocket cradling life
Biogenesis
So gentle, gentler than drops
Mucilaginous, cohesive
Mossy
