5 Minute Freewrite: Sunday - Prompt: Spa
It was a lovely summers afternoon, the sun had been shining and was setting nicely in the horizon. We have an outdoor spa so it seemed like a perfect time to hop in and watch the sunset in the distance. Enjoying a lovely wine with the sunet we noticed the moon begin to come up .. and it was a full moon. I am an avid watcher of fantasy TV shows so I know all the cliches about werewolves and vampires, surely they are all just fantasy right?
As the moon came fully up I started to hear a howling in the distance and my heartbeat increase rapidly. The howling got closer until I could see a wolf looking animal in the distance. My first thought was to distract it and then run inside so I found a stone and threw it in the opposite direction and ran inside.
Once insdie I started to think maybe it wasnt out to get me but it was just lonely and hungry. I got some meat out and took it out. The wolf came right up to me and took the meat. I think it liked me. Ever since he has been our pet. We have named him Gary
