Prompt of the Day 61: my shoe got stuck in the mud
I don't know how it happened but it did: my shoe got stuck in the mud. I just ran and there it was: in front of me. You'd think that I'd realize it at the moment when it goes off. But instead I ran forward and saw the mud puddle in the distance only to discover my shoe being there. Looking at my foot it's completely burned through the sock.
I looked back where I came from, looked again in front of me and there it still was: in the mud. I grabbed a stick from the bush and proceeded to poke it. Nothing. I just sat beside the shoe next to the road to observe it. After a while a goblin came out of the shoe, picked the shoe up on his head not seeing anything, took his way to the woods with a wobbling steps with zigzag and crashed onto a tree falling to its bottom. After quickly clearing his head he took it again and dappled into the woods with small quick steps.

I love that you used a goblin! You have to watch out for them as they will do anything for free stuff!
