5 Minute Freewrite - Salty
Back with a #freewrite after the weekend which I dedicated to just relaxing. Hence there being no freewrites for few days.
Prompt of the day: salty air
Being 'salty'. It's Internet slang used especially with e-sports and it usually refers to an irritated person experiencing something unfortunate. I watched a video about the etymology behind it; it originates from some twitch stream but I don't remember specifically.
But salty air? I know that salt stays on the ground when water evaporates, like in the Dead Sea in Israel (one of the rare foreign lands I've been to, thanks to my grandparents who financed the trip for me and my mom on top of theirs). I took a lot of pictures from there but then I accidentally deleted them all... I should try to recover them but it will be hard if not impossible because the memory card has since been in further use...

The physical salt didn't stay with me but the emotional did...
At least I have my memories.
Too much deleting going on!!! I must have done the same because I can't find any of my older pictures :(
I will share your grief. Such a shame to lose photos because in the future looking at them feels like some kind of anthropological discovery.
