I knew a guy who dotted and cared for his wife who was obese and needed oxygen. The bottles were stacked up by the house. Despite him running her errands, bathing her, serving as a maid, she berated him every chance. Anyway, one day he took a frying pan and whomped her on the head. He served 7 years for that act of triumph.
What a sad story! That's really too bad that he stayed until he snapped and let her treat him that way. I can't imagine how hard that situation would be. It would feel impossible to leave, but impossible to stay!
