The Flimsy Excuse : Day 306 : 5 Minute Freewrite
Switching on the light to read the newspaper, my eyes caught a story.

The new couple were so lucky to have been joined together here, a great blessing was in the mouth of everyone who bid the couple happy marriage life. And the prayer was true, the proceeding months saw the wife with a protruding belly, joy overflow as she delivered at the right time.
But the normal irreversible changes of life has started creeping into the woman, the wear and tear of having a baby, the stretch marks and the big tommy, though Mrs Jones has shared this concern with her husband to go hit some gym and work out those post baby belly fats. Her husband has refused it, advising that he loves her that way. Which was later found to be a lie.
Mr Jones was and is a playboy from day zero, the obessity of his wife has made him turned to strippers at night, partying all night with different girls, he wouldn't dare tell his wife the truth of his escapades, couple with the fact that the woman's family owns and support the home financially on most occasion and very influential, so he threads consciously in each exploit.
Till the day nememsis caught up with him, the day a knock was heard at the door while the little Jones came for the door to open. Inward stroll in a woman in her fifties with a young lady possibly in her early twenties, sob and quiet.
"Please we are looking for Mr Jones".
"Daddy, daddy, someone is at the door, asking of you" the little Jones called his father out.
Mr & Mrs Jones came out to see them, though Mrs Jones could easily decode what's going on, she feigned ignorance and asked her husband what's going on.
"Your husband impregnated my daughter".
The atmosphere became frozen.

Sounds like Mr Jones was flimsy all around. Most certainly in the area of good character and honor.
