A knock was heard at the door before my boss could say "come in", Ramses entered with a strong face.

"Ramses, hope everything is ok"
"You know what boss, am fed up with this job, I quit" as he said that he banged his appointment termination letter on the desk in utter disrespect. We couldn't believe our eyes.
Before you could say "Jack", Ramses was out of the office.

This is not the first time he'll is seeing youths with full energy bow out of a job because it ain't paying them as expected. We all know the youths of these days wants to drive the latest cars in a short possible period of time, accepted, but does that mean you'll jump the ladder of life? No.

Were they not taught that it's the consistency of small drops that make an ocean? Why are they so eager to be rich and famous this way?

My boss still couldn't find any possible way he has offended him. But that's not all, in a few months time our company collapsed, I know whenever Ramses see this news he will be happy it happened. Well, it was in a months time that she was acquired by a bigger company to work with, and that was the turning point to greater things. Not only that we were made the human resources agent for every personnel coming into the company. That was when we saw Ramses again, looking tattered all over when his eyes met my boss he couldn't hide his shame, the boss himself in a modality out of pity asked him why he did that thing that day.
" My friends pressure me to do that"
"And for what gain"
"I was introduced to an online fraud site to scam oyinbo people"
"So, haven't you made enough money now?"
"We were busted not quite long"
"And you're now starting back from square one,
you aren't welcome here.

Impulsive decisions are such poor choices. Nice freewrite.

That's the irony of life, I guess. We're always looking for greener pastures when what we should be doing is taking care of what we already have.
