EXPERIENCE TRAIL
Many times i hear people say these words, "Experience is the best teacher" and i begin to wonder if it is true. Do we really need to learn something the hard way before we understand? Do we really need to go through a painful encounter before we learn about some things in life?
As a person i think "most" people are just too preoccupied with the pleasure they would derive in a particular thing than its consequences, forgetting that "all that glitters is not gold". The moment we take our time to learn, study and ask questions when we ought to, then there is every possibility that one would not have to go through a rough or bad experience. For instance, when you are told to use protection when having sex if you are not ready to have kids and it's end result when you do. You read about it every where, what experience do you then need to either stay away from sex or use protection? It is basically common sense that would help you make the right choice not the experience.
However, experience is more like an aftermath of wrong decisions which already we might have read about, been advised on or even warned against. Although, learning from experience is not a bad thing but avoiding bad experiences is the best. But there are also experiences learnt, that was never bargained for, at this point we learn not to fall victim again.
There are good and bad experiences in life, but most experiences of people are the bad ones which is always so sad. We do not have to go through pain to experience life, because like the Bible says "Wisdom is more profitable to direct". Referring to my last post again "Think with your head and not with your heart but a balance of both is best" because it helps to avoid decision that would lead to bad experiences.
Have a blissful day!!
