From Corn to Porn, you knew it was coming! (5-min Freewrite with prompt: Corn)

I just took thirty seconds of my time
To think up words that could rhyme,
With that things that gets stuck in your teeth
when you eat it on the cob,
Or pops on the stove top when you heat the kernels.
Yep that thing I speak of is corn,
native to the area where I live, a lot of farms have it.
It's something I've eaten almost since I was born,
yes now that rhyming starts, it's a bit forlorn.
By the end of this freewrite, I will be worn
out from writing rhymes, or perhaps not.
Some of you may mourn
these sad little rhymes that makes no sense,
Like when a page is lost and torn
and gone with the wind.
But like an animal with a horn
on its head, only one rhyme remains I can think of,
something that can be watched, but that I don't watch,
but many enjoy it as much as pop corn,
or eat the corn while they watch it;
yup I speak of porn :p

And yes, from corn to porn, you knew it was coming,
no pun intended here, but it is quite fitting,
oh there I go again with another bad pun,
so many connotations now, now THAT'S something I love doing (connotations).
