Idiot - a stream-of-consciousness poetry morsel for Freewrite #369 - idiot
Hi everyone! This is my 70th 5 minute freewrite. (Disclaimer: these usually take me significantly longer than 5 minutes to write and edit 😉). Today's prompt was "idiot".

Idiot
Am I being too hard on myself
Or
Not hard enough?
Each intricate puzzle
Presented by experience
Must have a solution
Or more than one
Otherwise
Why present it at all?
Sometimes I seem to solve the riddle easily.
Sometimes it takes everything.
Before this maze
Clueless
I think there must be nothing for it but trial and error
To stumble blindly
And face whatever comes.
