PLUG (5-minute Freewrite)

The plug fell from the tight hole which separated the space craft from certain death. Zarlon sprang to his tentacles and slid across the ceramic tile. That was picked up on Gorlon IV during his last layover. 'What a good trading post,' one of his heads thought.

Focusing, Zarlon reached with one tentacle's slime covered sucker to a parts bin on the bulkhead. Empty. 'How in Carlax Zeta Bibe could that be empty?' His mental outburst, and more expressive head, now turned toward the analytical third head. "Aren't you responsible for organizing supplies?"

"Well," the third head responded, "I would have been if she hadn't kept us up all night drinking Vorllarmian Hoost, and losing credits in an endless game of Quasars and Cosmos!"

To which, Zarlon's fourth head rolled on voluminous shoulders, spilling hair out of her face, and moaned.
