JAM TOMORROW (5-minute Freewrite)

If you'll permit me, I am going to challenge myself to stay in the same story for all the 5-minute Freewrite Prompts for the month of February! Let's see how this turns out...

Felix tore a tab from the sheet taped to the library wall. Four tabs remained, which meant a few other aspiring artists had an interest.

'Jam Tomorrow' was printed across the top of the sheet in large black Papyrus font. He assumed that was meant to evoke some sense of classical refinement. But, it was a Jam. So, really, what was one to expect.

He left the library through the lesser used side exit. Like a faun on the first day of Spring, he bounded down the concrete stairs. Then he tripped over an upperclassman's bag and went sprawling on the quad.

The small band of undergrads laughed at the failed acrobatic exhibition as they departed. One of them threw a crumped flyer at Felix. A bright image winked at him from beneath a jagged crease.

As he unfolded the sheet of gloss coated paper, inspiration grabbed hold. He forgot about the jam session, and bolted to his dorm to book a cruise.
