I was golfing the other day and a fellow who joined up with our group overheard me talking about crypto's and he started asking questions. I had to say, "this is extremely high risk, and you shouldn't invest anything you are afraid to lose.....That being said, 'I'm all in."
As a young person, Cryptocurrency is the superior investment option and strategy. It's also much cooler than 'traditional investments'. I don't require someone else to manage my Assets. The growth potential here is tremendous. My "worst pick" thus far has only done 100% growth. Lol. That doesn't sound too bad at all. Especially since it's only about 2 months old.
But Hey, Let's compare this to my local Bank. I can get 2.5% annually on a savings account if I fill out this extra paper work. Mutual Funds, Maybe 6 or 7%. REITF's can get me maybe 10%. With all these huge options...I don't even have the freedom to instantaneously move things around...should i decided to do so. With cryptocurrency it's a matter of a few clicks.
Another great option for a young person: "Buy a House with a Big Mortgage". Don't worry you have a 9-5 job to pay off the debt for the next 20-30 years. And Hey, We can call it an investment for 'retirement'. We can rent out a room in the house. This is a mentality that makes no sense to me what so ever. I gladly prefer to rent nice accommodations and have some disposable income for making Great Plays with.
Cryptocurrency is a real opportunity for both the young and the old, to substantiate financial freedom. It's no Joke. It takes discipline, persistence, and a willingness to Learn. My new steemit freind @orionschariot would say, "A shrewd Mind", and I agree 100%.
It's been a gongshow for far too long in terms of the quality of living on planet earth. Sure, I've been pretty fortunate and the quality of my Living is better than most....that's beyond the point. The point is, it's up to each of us as individuals to take the plunge into educating ourselves about Money and cryptocurrency. We live in an age of automation...Shouldn't our money streams be automated?

Great post. It never a good idea to invest everything in one basket. Especially for cryto that the volatility is so high now. What is your actual investment strategy, would you mind to share?
Diversification is Key.
First I start with establishing current market cap price.
Second, I investigate the people connected to the Investment.
Third, I write a list of pro's and con's. Anything that comes to mind.
Fourth, I question the Long Term Potential Growth and Maturity, based on all the data i've collected + my individual insights and reflections.
Fifth, I establish strategy for Investing. Do I want to put a bulk some at once...or Do i want to make small incremental buy orders until price it's a certain value.
Sixth, I am conscientious of Re-Diversification based on "Rule of Thirds Strategy" See my friend @cassidyandfranks for more info.
Seventh, I share my stories and plays with my Peers. Meaning I share my process walked....how I've come to the conclusions and decisions I've made.
Eight, I always dedicate even the littlest bit of time on a regular basis for expansion...through networking and educating myself in matters i am not very well versed.

Your articulation of how powerful an investment crypto currency is and how it can solve many of our economic problems we face today is spot on. The financial sector dogma that they are the only ones who know how to invest our money has crippled the economic fortunes of people all over the world. Crypto currencies are leveling the playing field and allows the ordinary individual to truly control his monetary destiny if he's willing to learn and be bold enough to break the chains of the decades of brainwashing by Wall Street. Thank you very much for the mention and I feel very fortunate to interact and learn from so many great, like-minded people on a daily basis. I really believe people like you and the rest of Steemit community will be a driving force in educating the masses about crypto currency, thus allowing them to increase their financial education and live a life with more freedom and less stress brought on by debt and economic hardship. The Steemit community and what it brings to the table is truly incredible, and as each new member arrives the message here grows.

Yes- we are an indebted nation that has bought the dream that is a lie. Cool that this sphere is here for us to play in on our own terms, and I think being bold applies to waaaay more than just investment. Was just having a conversation with an individual who's deep in the world of finance...and he was joking around saying, "in 5 years we're not going to be talking about this 100 billion dollar market cap...everything is going to be in crypto...there's won't be much left of the old money markets"
I tend to agree with the outlook. We live in the age of information...and things are moving a lot more quickly than they have historically. That being said, it's always a good idea for some diversification.
