To enable lasting freedom, the only answer is personal / local empowerment and peer-to-peer systems - Part 1: Identifying the "value parasites" of our society

The history of humanity getting screwed is always by monopolistic / oligopolistic leaders, middlemen, and specialists. Throughout this article I will call them "value parasites." These individuals have always controlled and abused the system, and in the end and have usurped pretty much anything of significant value in society. To solve this historical problem, the first things we need to really understand are the following:

1. Who are the key value parasites that keep society in bondage?
2. What methods enable them to get into power and stay in power?
3. What alternatives do we have to fulfill their key roles and thereby free people from their control?

In this first part of the series, I will focus on the first question. We will then answer the other questions in subsequent posts.

The many faces of value parasites

History is replete with various types of value parasites that bleed society for long periods of time until some new technology or thinking comes out to eliminate them. I will put them into a few key classes with descriptions below:

• Government leaders and bureaucrats - This class of parasites live off the knowledge that society needs someone in government in gather taxes, plan infrastructure, execute wars, etc. They also know that they have the ability to pretend like legitimate leaders of a land while they plan their own agendas or the agendas of others by abusing the money and laws of the people they supposedly represent. Originally these parasites started with little kingdoms that owned a portion of a waterway, a key mountain pass, or a bridge across a chasm. They would then extort people for the trade / travel access and call these taxes. If you weren't willing to pay, then they would attack and kill you. Over time, governments got far, far bigger and we ended up with massive empires to run this institutionalized theft instead (and some across multiple continents and oceans). This also bred a whole class system of underlying bureaucrats that would pull this same trick in different ways within the many different speciality areas of the government. The most essential theft model here is "pay to play," but it also includes dictatorial leaders that at times dispense with any veneer of public representation and simply use force against the people. There are many more theft and control models used in this class, but I'll get into these in the context of the other classes of value parasites. The key point to remember here is that their corruption is evident to the degree these "public servants" enrich themselves off the backs of the society they are intended to serve. Think about that the next time you cheer for some ridiculous royal wedding or coronation like the masses often do.

• Specialists and "experts" - You name the expert from a lawyer to a doctor to an accountant, etc. All these supposed experts have set themselves up within role as experts so as to be able to charge insane fees for something that should be fairly simple to manage. The history of this started with the guilds in Europe. The City of London government was eventually built upon the guild model and the City is still run today solely by specialist guilds within the city. The worst of these types of parasites have formed very tight communities of experts that monopolize / oligopolize and fully control their supposed areas of expertise. They have a few nasty tricks that they use including: using government cronies to license / charter them (i.e. royal charters) and stop anyone else from doing their jobs; setting up special language and complex rules (as with attorneys) to make sure a normal person can't function in their role; hiding their knowledge from the standard people so that they can't just train themselves, and selling themselves as quasi-godlike geniuses that most people are unable to question (e.g. physicians). This is all BS games to keep people out of their little monopolies and gouge people on price with exorbitant access fees.

• Priests and gurus - The fact that anyone can supposedly set themselves up as the access point between humanity and God has to be the biggest, oldest, and most ridiculous con game on the planet. This game started with shamans who legitimately spent a lot of time building a skill set to access the spiritual world and then used this knowledge to act as the village dream interpreter, psychologist, priest, and doctor all rolled into one. Over time however, this role evolved into formalized religions with priests as the only ones that could effectively offer oblations and sacrifices to the gods as well as interpret messages from the gods. Of course the money they collected never went to God, it only went to the priests as they became ever richer and more powerful in each society they developed within. Over time they would even create schisms within their own religions and sects to rob, manipulate, and con the people even further. They would proclaim to have special knowledge, understanding, and capabilities that no one else could. When modern societies finally started to get tired of this BS, a lot of people began to run off to New Age gurus and charlatans espousing "new truths" like quantum physics instead. Today, it's ever so popular to proclaim that quantum physics is the new proven quasi-religious science. Actually, it's all theoretical BS that simply substitutes these New Age workshops for traditional priest led worship. It's just a more modern form of the same con. (By the way, the invalidation of organized religion in no way invalidates Christ's teachings and Christianity. Organized religion is simply the con game that has been opportunistically built up around numerous spiritual teachings instead.)

• Bankers and financiers - This one is everyone's favorite focus these days. Bankers seem to be the only value parasites that anyone seems to identify and care about anymore. Don't get me wrong, they are certainly some of the worst parasites in society, but it's simply wrong to focus only on them as the core of everything that is wrong with the world. Sure, bankers gain massive power by undermining and controlling the financial systems, but they are also highly regulated and controlled by governments these days. The most dangerous part about bankers are the government, banking, and corporate alliances that have formed with them over the centuries. These alliances allow the banks, governments, and corporations to jointly manipulate everyone and everything. Of course they still run their frauds of printing endless fiat money, rigging markets, and selling fraudulent securities, but they must be enabled by governments to massively screw everyone. Yet even worse than bankers are the big money financiers that monopolize resources needed to start new major projects and businesses. Many new businesses can never be started without first grovelling at their feet for money, resources, and support. The Rothschilds and Rockefellers fall into this class. Yes, they were bankers to start with, but their real power came after they started working with governments and then became "pay to play" financiers. Through this, they can often control who becomes a future business success and who doesn't.

• Corporate market manipulators and distributors - These are the classic middlemen. These are the guys that make sure that a market only gets a few types of products with no real competition and prices jacked up through the roof. These are the guys that create and maintain monopolies / oligopolies to ensure there are the same products everywhere with no truly great products but instead wallet gouging prices. They tell everyone in business school that this is just supposed to be normal business practice. What it really is is the manipulation of a captive audience to the greatest degree possible. Governments used to care about monopolies screwing the people, but now they just partner with them as part of their empires. In their worst forms, these government / corporate hybrids have been examples like the British East India Company that addicted the Chinese people to opium and waged the Opium Wars on them when they decided to resist. One of the worst modern examples is the US military industrial complex which makes money destroying countries around the globe at the cost of the American taxpayer and then makes money again rebuilding foreign infrastructure at the cost of the American taxpayer. Meanwhile, the banks in bed with the US government make insane money on the loans for these "little enterprises." It's all about screwing everybody for the most money and with the least value given in return. Probably the worst of this system is the medical industry that has gotten in bed with governments to force vaccines on people. The drastically over vaccinated children are then immune compromised for life and are subsequently lifetime customers of overpriced and deadly pharmaceuticals that keep them sick and coming back incessantly. It's a model of pure evil that could only be thought up by the sickest pricks on the planet. This worse than any standard banker by far, yet most people don't even think about what they are doing to our children and our health future.

How to finally defeat these parasites

There are a number of ways that these value parasites stay in control and the way to defeat them is through identifying their key means and disintermediating them. The biggest problem however is that many of the techniques used by these pricks have been institutionalized and legitimized already over hundreds of years. These activities are often treated as legal and good business practice. This requires that people get properly educated on identifying these tricks as well as understanding how badly they are being screwed by them. Without this, no one will stand up to this massive ongoing manipulation and theft that is happening daily.
