That sound like a very reasonable price, plus you have the advantage of mobility. You can just cruise across Europe and enjoy all the different climates, people and scenery! That is priceless.
Wow that is so amazing Mark!! Thanks for sharing, could come in really handy as inspiration to building my own one day!^^
Definitely going to need help though as my experience with this is like zero to none...guess sitting in front of the computer much of my life hasn't helped me so much in that department! :P
Thats amazing @markwhittam .... Firstly,i being a civil engineer appreciate your idea ,art and work...especially the start i.e foundation, you made it perfect buddy ,then every step seems much planned and well managed and yeah, the results are mind blowing, finally the last photo gives architectural smell..
A house on wheels, that is the best idea, a moving house. You can choose where to live without paying for the new house . Great idea. I can't believe you did all of that by yourself, that's mind blowing. It looks fabulous now. You are awesome my friend. Wow man wow
Oh My Goodness! Your home looks so cozy and warm. The kitchen is fabulous and I love the Norwegian wood burner. I dream of building a tiny home in a few years (even without building experience). Your article is certainly encouraging. Thank you for sharing it.
Man after watching all these efforts and your love towards your family and children made me cry man, and really my heart is singing for blessings and remember my words you are great man and great fighter and no situation can let you down and continue your efforts and you will get your land of freedom where you and your family will get the true happiness and if i would be there i can't stop myself to help you man but after watching this post, i really felt the inhumanity in this world and some people enjoying the all the resources of life by using power and others are facing the scarcity but i salute you man, keep fighting and you are and you will be winner in all situations. Wishing you and your family an great and safe day. Stay blessed. 🙂
I love your tiny house build! I would never have thought to use a horse truck. This was a stroke of genius! Nice and sturdy yet roomy enough for a family. I agree about the horse pee. Soaks into everything. You did an amazing job.
Awesome post. What do you think was the total cost for all the materials and the truck?
It cost €35.000 or $43.000 which I think is cheap for a family home =)

I have a friend in Denmark who did something similar--and also for about US $40,000.

Thank you! I'm glad it seemed well planned because it wasn't ;) we just took one step at a time and somehow pulled it off =)

Thank you @wa2qr!
I could never have done this without my amazing partner, she really amazed me with her woodworking skills!

Welcome and stay blessed brother.
It seems so much smaller on the pictures, funny! I love your home! Looking forward to build my own one day!
Yeah! I need to get someone who's really good with a camera like you are to take good pictures that really give it justice!

Yes! The horse trucks are the best, especially the ones with the side ramp =)
I really like your house, it is so cosy but unfortunately a lot of men in Ukraine can`t even hammer a nail.
Thank you @kristinaljfom!
Absolutely brilliant! Completely the other end to my comfort zone but I love the thought of this type of living.
