At a press conference yesterday, President Trump dismissed the idea of due process before police confiscate private firearms. He even suggested that police ignore restrictions on such gun grabs. Will government use the latest "crisis" to grab more of our liberties?

    I saw that. Some Trumpers' jimmies were rustled, but many of them are saying that he was just informally throwing around words.

      Never thought Trump would say that... Although he did say "take guns from dangerous people" which is a sane thing to say in reality. If a dude has a gun, whose proven to be a nut, surely you should take the gun away just in case? Although, it's a slippery slope - yet I doubt Trump will be the one to pull the pin on the second amendment.
