RE: NEWS de début d'année - L'atelier d'Oreille Pointue [FR/EN]
Digital, hand drawn, and physically created wow thats alot of fields to be able to play around in :0
Do you do all of these professionally? or is it one of them?
Or maybe it's none and purely recreational?
All of these are purely recreational.
I have three books (fantasy young adult) and I sell some of my watercolors during festivals, but it's far away from enouth to survive (between 1500€ and 2000€ a year).
Maybe one day, when I'll be rich and famous... * sigh *
In the "real life", I'm a lanscape architect. Still drawing, but more technic and less... imaginative (especially because I have to satisfy the expectations of my clients, who rarely ask me for elves and unicorns).
I really envy your passion then hahaha
After working on creative things all day in the office I rarely have the drive to carry on doing personal work, even if it's a different medium.
Also I think you "real life" job is also really cool, in mine I don't get to draw anything :(
I do however get to work on a variety of things at least thank god for that :)
(eg. last year I was 3D environmental artist for an interactive wetlands children's play centre, also did a Triceratops head mock-up for a potential VR exhibit, that has horns so maybe that counts as my unicorn hahaha, now i'm currently doing video editing and grading on neuropsychology lectures which is an interesting listen)
