Week #14 Foxtales Contest | My Entry: "Is it her last day?".

Camila sat in the middle of the bathroom as she watched the bath fill up. Her parents were not at home and she had given her dog a tranquilizer to make sure he didn't follow her. His days were getting harder and harder, he never thought that just waking up would cause him pain. I didn't want to hurt anyone else, so I made this decision. When he saw that the tub had filled up, he went into it and went to bed. Next to the soap there was a full glass with a stronger dose than she had given to the dog. He wanted to end his suffering and that of others, in order to bring peace to her soul. He drank the contents of the glass and closed his eyes, only to wake up and live the same day over and over again without knowing why. Apparently there was something she didn't want her to find peace that way. Only if she knew.
