I also voted for The Merger, but want to say:
Your opinion does matter - I don't remember how I first came across your work but you were one of the first Witnesses I chose to support and still do. I think/hope that this whole process of gathering proposals, refining them and voting will inform whatever foundation eventually forms and make it better.
It's a good point about the foundation most likely being formed in the U.S. Though I would expect the members of the various boards could serve from anywhere (and if so, should be selected from a variety of regions).
