If the price is about to go up why in the literal fuck would you want to sell? Do you not expect the price to go up after the inflation rate is lowered?
It's not about the money, it's about the statement. I hate driving in a Ferrari and getting forced by the governement to switch it against a Fiat punto because it suits them better.

Steve, the hard fork doesn't affect the 2 year power down automatically. If you start the power down before the hard fork, then it will still take 2 years, unless you stop the power down and then restart it after the hard fork. I can't remember the exact post where I read that, but it was @stellabelle who asked the question of one of the witnesses, and that was his answer.
True, but part of the attraction of the 2 yr power down was the crazy interest. For some folks, it's a game-changer. I'm pretty neutral, but do understand why it would bother folks.

Being a newbie, the 2 year power down attracted me to join, I'm with you on that, but I'm willing to try my luck with the hardfork. I'm not too upset. The crypto world is still young. :)
