Football is King of Sports- It is the Best

Football, I mean European Football, or I hate to use this term, but some of us say it as Soccer is the undoubtedly the best sports, and most of us will agree on it. Even if you don't, let me present you some of the facts to prove why football is the best sports. Here we go:

1. Its Global:
   The first question is how do you categorize the best? For me, the best sports is the one everyone likes it, plays it and loves it. FIFA reported in its 2006 report that 270 million people around the world are actively involved in Soccer which is 4% of the total population. And it is played all over the world, unlike cricket, American Football, etc. Also, it is the most popular game in many countries. It is also a most watched sports. The world cup 2014 in Brazil reached to 3 billion people around the globe. Do you remember the population of the world? It is 7.6 billion, thus almost everyone watches it because its the best. Football brings the world together, and hence it is the king of all the sports.

265 million male and female players in addition to 5 million referees and offi cials make a grand total of 270 million people – or 4% of the world’s population – who are actively involved in the game of football.

2.Affordable/Accessible:

To play a football, you need nothing except a ball, and it is cheap. Everyone can afford it, from the rich to the poor. There are no tools or special equipment required. Even you don't need a shoe to play, and you can play it barefoot. You don't need a pitch or ground to play, can play anywhere. You can play it in street, or you can even play it in your home. You can play it in rain, you can play it on a sunny day or you can even play it in chilling cold. There is no time bound or restriction, you can play any number of minutes you like. There is no age and gender limit, children, adults, , women, and everyone can play it.

3.Easy Rules:
Now you have a ball and a few people to play with. You might be thinking there should be some rules you need to know before you start playing. If you think there are rules to play it, you are wrong. There are virtually no rules at all. You kick a ball with your foot into the opponent's net to score goals. The team that scores more goals wins. (There are few rules like offsides, corner kicks, and fouls, but they ain't important to start playing)

4.Beautiful game:
Football is an art, and you can see its beauty in the way the player plays it in the field. Those dribble, freekicks, shots, penalty, passing, heading, save fouls, tackles, and everything, they have beauty in it and feast to your eyes. And we call football player as a magician. Also, there is respect among players and officials inside and outside the ground which makes it beautiful. I
