Essam El Hadary became the oldest player to ever play in the fifa world cup tournament.
Egypt vs Saudi arabia is a game with no expectation, it just a game of pride. Both team have lost their two previous game and technically both teams are out of the tournament but this isn't about the group but for sure it all about a man who broke a record and become the oldest player in the first world cup tournament.
Essam El Hadary, who is 45 years and 161 days old, is at his first World Cup for the Egyptian and win his 157th cap.
Egypt seeking a first world cup win at their third tournament appearance and face a Saudi Arabia, although but teams are out but will be playing for pride for their mother's land.
El-Hadary made his first professional appearance in 1993 for local club Damietta and played his first game for Egypt three years later. (1993–1996, 58 appearance).
El-Hadary played most of his career at Al Ahly SC (412app) where he has won eight Egyptian Premier League titles, four Egypt Cups, four Egyptian Super Cups and four CAF Champions League titles.
El-Hadary takes the record from former Colombia goalkeeper Faryd Mondragon.
