OFFICIAL: De Ligt medical tests.
On Tuesday evening Matthijs de Ligt arrived in Turin.
Today, the Dutch defender passed medical tests and he will sign a contract with Juventus valid until 30 June 2024. Ajax will receive € 75 million (probably € 65 million bases plus € 10 million bonuses) for him. The competitor will initially be able to count in Turin for earnings of € 8-9 million per year.
The 19-year-old was one of the most sought-after players in Europe. However, you can not be surprised. The young Dutchman conducted the Ajax defense line with the captain's armband on his shoulder. Last season he played 55 games, scoring 7 goals and 4 assists. FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain wanted to buy De Ligt , but Juventus proved to be more effective.
As for the first team, the summer has already been contracted by Gianluigi Buffon, Merih Demiral, Luka Pellegrini, Adrian Rabiot, Aaron Ramsey and Cristian Romero.
