OFFICIAL: Roberto Soldado returns to LaLiga.
34-year-old Roberto Soldado has joined the ranks of Granada.
Spanish club announced an agreement with an experienced attacker regarding a contract valid until 30 June 2020 with an option to extend by another 12 months. Soldado goes to Granada on a free transfer basis.
A 12-time Spanish representative for the last 2 years has performed at Fenerbahçe. He played 59 matches in the colors of the Turkish team, recording 19 goals and 11 assists. Last season was not successful for the team from Istanbul. Fenerbahçe finished him on the 6th place in the home league table.
In the past, Soldado performed in Real Madrid, Osasuna, Getafe, Valencia, Tottenham and Villarreal. The total balance of the attacker in LaLiga is 245 meetings, 110 goals and 29 assists.
Granada also buy Domingos Duarte from Sporting. The cost of transferring the 24-year-old Portuguese defender was € 3 million. The parties were bound by the contract until June 30, 2023.
The team from Andalusia returned to the highest Spanish level after a 2-year break. In the first round of the new LaLiga season, August 17, he will face Villarreal.
