RE: Liverpool have no chance of winning the Premier League

in #football5 years ago

I think the truth is that Liverpool is the cash cow for the Red Sox and just maybe they don't have the funds that they should have. I am sure they will have one or to new faces coming and expect them to be close to City and maybe winning it again. Klopp is a different animal and he seems to get the best out of every player.

I just don't think anyone is prepared to sink as much money into the club as the City owners. Liverpool spent a lot last year (net spend £130mil) that was never likely to happen again but maybe they just need that one signing to add a bit of variety and freshness to the squad - it could still happen.....

Thankfully, that's not the case. The owners never take a penny out of the accounts. Revenues are increasing on a yearly basis and they're delivering what they promised. One of the issues we have is that we have invested £50M into a new training centre that will be ready next summer. The club is also paying for plans for the second stage of Anfield's development which should see a significant capacity increase at the Anfield Road End. We also just gave a lot of our stars new bumper contracts so we'll only spend if somebody Jurgen REALLY wants comes along.
