WHAT TO EXPECT IN STAMFORD BRIDGE TONIGHT

Stamford Bridge is set to welcome two of the champions of England. Manchester City might get their first defeat in EPL or continue the unbeaten run and lead the table table in few hours time. Guadiola's boys did perfectly well last season and they are definitely looking forward to lifting this season's trophies. Three teams are on the race too, and Chelsea is one if them. So today's match will decide a lot.

Chelsea is currently in the fifth spot; they need this win more than ever. A win might place them in third position - that's if Tottenham fails to win, else they claim the fourth spot. Since the battle for top four is currently on fire, they wouldn't want to lose tonight. Manchester City on the other hand are one point behind Liverpool. A win tonight will give them the top spot with 2 points clear. Although a draw would give them the spot, but the boys surely definitely want to make a difference.

Ever since Sari lost his first match this season, the team hasn't been very rigid. Their match against Wolves confirmed that. Manchester City has never been inconsistent so the odds are on them. But this is football where anything happens, we never can tell, the blues might come out victorious. Let's look at the possible lineups.

The starting lineups will be released in some minutes, but this is what we will likely see.

For Chelsea:
(4-3-3 formation): Kepa (Goal Keeper); Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso; Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic; Pedro, Giroud, Hazard.

William and Morata weren't effective in the last two matches, so Giroud's late strike against Wolves might give him a starting chance. Sari would want to hold the ball against City, so Kovacic is definitely a better choice; William or Barkley might come from the bench.

For Mancity:
(4-3-3 formation): Ederson (Goal keeper); Walker, Stones, Laporte, Delph; Bernardo Silva, Fernandinho, David Silva; Mahrez, Aguero, Sterling.

This has been the winning team for Guardiola, so we shouldn't expect a change. Sterling didn't start the last match, rumours has it that he was rested for today's match. Aguero is definitely starting ahead of Jesus, but Guardiola might prefer Sane for today's match in place of Mharez. It's just a matter of time to find out.
