TalkingWorldCup #06 : Why we can't use VAR like in tennis ?
Yesterday the Moroccan national team performed one of their best games in the world Cup against Spain, the winner of 2010 version. Were it not for the weakness of the referees, the team would be able to win, especially with the introduction of the VAR technology.
The Video Assistant Referee system must be implemented correctly, because in my opinion the fact of giving referees the permission to choose some incidents to review is not fair. In the Moroccan case there were 3 penalties at least in the last 2 games, if the referee select one of them to be reviewed things will change . But when it comes to big teams the VAR is useful.
So I think that I agree with the proposition of Bert Van Marwijk , Australia coach : "In tennis the players can decide when they use the video referee. Maybe we can think about giving both teams one or two or maybe three possibilities to ask the video referee."
You're right, Moroccan football team has shown to the whole world that he is one of the biggest teams. Because of the weakness of the referees, they are disqualified now.

Yes I'm waiting for the African Cup to see the team playing again, Actually, I will come to Morocco around 15 August and will travel again first of September.
I also agree with about the VAR, to give the team or the captain of the team the right to choose to use the VAR or not
