Record goal scorer for Chile
With the goal against Germany, Alexis Sanchez became leading goalscorer for his country. In his 112 cap for the country the Chilean scored in his 38th goal on the 7th minute of the game surpassing Marcelo Salas. 
The game ended as draw as the Germany scored the equaliser after 41 minute.
