Salmon Sushi - Photography

So one of my favorite pastimes is shooting photography. I tend to shoot a lot of landscapes, underwater images but sometimes i get that one awesome shot of food.

This time i scored an ultimate angle of Salmon sushi while out in Hawaii and then decided to craft while at work a cool mono cromatic shot of just the salmon pieces on a plate in a black and white setting.

To do this, take an RGB color photo and save one PSD later at grayscale, and one in color. Mask them on top of each other then magic wand and erase the pieces you want to punch out. Boom you have an image that shares both black and white and color. Pretty cool huh!
