Strawberries Fresh From The Garden
No shop bought produce can beat that which you harvest directly from your own garden.
Those colourful fruit and veg on the supermarket shelves were no doubt picked many months ago, in a far-off land, by underpaid workers. They will have been sprayed with all manner of chemicals while growing and again after being picked. They will have been in and out of a cold store and maybe even gassed to forced ripen or keep them looking fresh.
How many hands do you think that produce has been touched by before you put it in your mouth?
In our garden, we can count the number of hands on one finger. :)
So fresh we haven't even washed the dirt off yet.
Check out some of our previous posts below (we haven't been here long so don't have much to share so far).

Great post and I love how you added the links to several other posts you’ve written.
I love strawberries and truthfully would feel the same way if I didn’t have a local farm which I know the farmer very well and know they don’t use horrible chemicals. You can definitely taste and see the difference.
It is often the truth that it's not what you know but who you know. Sounds like a good farmer to know. :)

the most beautiful strawberry
Sadly it is almost always our 2 year old who eats them before we adults get a look in. :)
