Food Photography : Artisan Ice Cream
When I started learning to do pastries, one of the things that I wanted to do was to make ice cream. My kids love eating ice cream, and there are certain flavors that I cant find here in Costa Rica. So, making them is good way of indulging to sweet treats and at the same time be able to control the quality.
Several of my friends and colleagues started liking them as well and I get orders for it.
I created AYS KRIM (try reading it and you get ice cream.. LOL) .
Here are 2 of the flavors i created, first is CHURCHELADO, its a take on the classic frozen treats here in Costa rica , called Churchil (its a sweets made of shaved ice, pink syrup, condensed milk and powdered milk)
and KUKIS n'KRIM , a take on the classic american flavor cookies n' cream.
