3 chocolate chip vegan cookie recipes
It's been a while since my eldest asked me to cook on Wednesday afternoons, while his little sister slept quietly. He loves to help me for any type of recipes, with a preference for cookies of course. After 3 trials of different vegan cookies , I reveal you our favorite recipes!
The V World Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies and Chocolate Chip Cookies
Discovered on the very nice vegan blog The V World , those are by far my favorite: they are less sweet than the usual cookies but very fragrant thanks to applesauce and coconut oil. I just replaced the peanut butter with almond puree because that's all I had in my fridge!
For about 16 cookies
Preparation time: 20 min - Cooking time: 12 min
260 g of spelled flour (or classic wheat flour)
80 g oatmeal
40 g of almond powder
60 g of melted coconut oil
40 g brown cane sugar
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla powder
80 g of dark chocolate chips
100 g of applesauce without added sugar
2 large tablespoons of almond puree
- Pour all the ingredients into the robot's bowl and mix until you have a smooth paste. (Without a robot, mix the ingredients with a spoonful of wood or by hand).
- Take balls of dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Flatten the balls with the palm of your hand. Be careful not to over-tighten them on the plate.
- Bake for about 12 minutes in the preheated oven at 180 ° C until they are nicely browned.
Chocolate chip cookies by Juliette Pochat
Those, I discovered them in the magazine Veggie Spirit but also on the blog The recipes of Juliette . The vegan recipe is very nice and can be easily modified by adding hazelnuts or crushed almonds for example. I used a mixture of wheat flour and spelled flour but you can only use wheat flour as in Juliette's original recipe. They are very crisp, my children have of course feasted, even if I did not have enough chocolate chips to make the recipe!
For 15 to 20 cookies
Preparation time: 15 min - Cooking time: 15 min
100 g of wheat flour T65
100 g of spelled flour
75 g of rapadura whole sugar
1/2 bag of baking powder
3 teaspoons of cornstarch (corn, arrowroot, potato ...) - optional
8 cl of olive oil
3 tablespoons of complete almond puree
10 cl of soy milk (or almond milk, oat ...)
100 g of chocolate chips
- Pour the flours, sugar, baking powder and cornstarch into the food processor bowl and mix.
- Add the almond puree and slowly add the milk and oil. Add the chocolate chips.
- Take balls of dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Flatten the balls with the palm of your hand. Be careful not to over-tighten them on the plate.
- Bake for about 15 minutes in the preheated oven at 180 ° C until they are nicely browned.
- These cookies are kept for 2-3 days in an airtight box.
The vegan Cookies of Marie Laforêt
This recipe, I discovered in the book Vegan beginner Marie Laforêt Editions La Plage. The ingredients that make up the cookies are simpler but it's the recipe I liked the least. They are really too sweet and too fat for me (well, not for my kids!). And I find them a little white, although I've cooked almost twice as much as was indicated on the recipe.
For 14 small cookies
Preparation time: 15 min
Cooking time: 8 min
200 g of wheat flour T55 or T65
100 g of blond cane sugar
1 pinch of vanilla powder
10 cl of neutral oil
3 tablespoons of vegetable milk
75 g chopped black chocolate pastry
- In a salad bowl, mix the flour, sugar and vanilla. Add the oil and mix to obtain a sandy texture or a crumble texture. Add the vegetable milk and mix to obtain a homogeneous cookie dough. Add the chopped chocolate to the dough by reserving a small portion of the pieces.
- Form 14 small balls, flatten them and spread them apart on a baking sheet. Divide the reserved chocolate pieces over the cookies.
- Bake at 170 ° C for about 15 minutes. They must be barely golden at the edges. Take out the cookies from the oven. Let stand a few minutes on the baking tray. Put the cookies on a rack and let cool or cool before eating.

what is the difference between vegan and regular chocolate chip cookies??? Does regular chocolate chip cookies have meat in them?
Veganism is the worst dangerous diet because of dietary deficiencies that can cause serious health problems. Veganism forbids eating, using clothes and seeing everything that comes from animals such as wool, honey, the ban on going to circuses, zoos, etc ...
Vegan cookies 'respects' the animals. it's not a joke ;)
First of all, I agree with you on your view of vegan food. And secondly, the real reason I came here, was I wanted to thank you for following me. It means a lot. I truly appreciate everyone of my followers. I hope to be seeing you around. All of my love to you and all of yours. And may our creator bless yous.
Maybe because the flour used does not contains any part of any animal and specially no honey ^_^
