What a great looking salad... I'm more of a carnivore myself, but that salad looks delicious.... It must be your awesome photography skills ;-)
thanks a lot! I have to say that i was holding a lamp at one hand and my phone on the other to take this shot. =D
#truestory
hahaha... well, the end result was worth it :-)
Yum, delicious! Was it hard figuring out food like the yogurt since you moved from USA? I have no idea what kind that is ... I'm so proud of you non asian girl ... :p
you know, the first time i consume yogurt with a straw is in china! lol.... somehow i love the yogurt here though, it doesn't taste as sweet as the ones back home. Salad is a new thing in Beijing too actually, the usual ones are noodles, rice and ect. But I do love a good salad. Note that Chinese love corn, you can see it in the salad bowl (i don't know why because I don't put corn in my salad bowl? But I guess it depends on preferences) haha...
lol... a non asian girl with a blog call asianetwork, hahahaha...
i bet it must be better, anything outside of the USA is much more natural.
yeah interesting regarding salad there and the concept. yay corn!
yeah i dont like it either but people put it in a tex salad here ... yeah preference
yeah that is deeeeppp ... non asian girl how i love thee ... hee hee
That.... Looks.... GREAT!

My impression of food in Beijing is dirty street food! Thanks for changing my impression. That looks really delicious and healthy!
well, Beijing is pretty strict lately, but regardless of whatever situation, just be careful =)
I always read the reviews on apps before i dine anywhere in Beijing, so that is one way to avoid bad food, glad you like this post! Cheers =)
Okay good to know! I haven't been to China before. With the tourists coming out of there... I worry about going haha. It is good to hear that they are regulating the food better.
oh, in that case you don't have to worry a lot because there are tons of expats here. If you need a vacation, come to Beijing and experience the food and culture =)
don't be afraid to ask about the conditions here too because most of my friends that came to beijing to study for 6 months didn't want to leave after that. Life here is really different =)
I have a friend who studied Traditional Medicine at Beijing :P He seemed to enjoy it but he opted to work in Japan instead. I heard Shenzhen was nice. I should go to Beijing one of these days. I will at least get to use my mandarin!
ah... shenzhen is a smart choice if you go there! shenzhen is a bridge away from Hong Kong and you will get the best of both sides. Weather is great in shenzhen, the air is good and not too dry. Great city actually =)
I've heard it is something like the Sillicon Valley of China.. I also am a bit afraid fo Hong Kong as I had an ex who has heritage there haha
yup! true too. Southern China is the tech industrial Zone. Lots of IT companies there too. I think i would think twice if I have an ex in Hong Kong too, lol. The reason why i like hong kong is because the signs are in chinese and english. It's silly of me but seeing english wordings reminds me of home. and... there's Dim Sum =D
