Souvenirs and Lhasa Beer part 3
Countless trinkets, charms and items for the kitchen were bought while on holiday. I loved the handcrafted items that the Tibetan people would make, sometimes it would be made up on the spot. Trading and bartering is done in a civil and friendly manner.
Every night we would meet as a group for dinner to share laughter and stories of our day. Lhasa beer and other spirits were at the centre of these nights and I will always remember my first taste of Tibetan alcohol as it was a significant moment of rest and relaxation. Collecting souvenirs has always been a habit of mine but the photos and memories being made were the real valuable assets to keep for life.
