Gorgeous 'Ikan Patin Masak Tempoyak'

Hello Dear Steemians ,

As I promised I will share you how the recipe of 'Ikan Patin Masak Tempoyak' and how to cook it . For your information , I get this recipe from my mom . So, credit to my mum .

Actually , Ikan Patin Masak Tempoyak is a popular food at Temerloh, Pahang, Malaysia, and Temerloh also is called as City Of Ikan Patin .

Here is how,

Ingredients

Bahan bahan:

  • 1 Ikan Patin medium size
  • 2 spoon fermented durian
  • 4 cup of water
  • 1-5Red Chilies
  • 1 inc tumeric leaf
  • 1-10 hot mint
  • A little salt

Method:

Mash the red chili and tumeric leaves ,make sure that not too much .Then put the fermented durian or tempoyak and mash it aqain to make it mix .

Put the fish and all the ingrediant in the pan . Cook them with a small fire until them boils down .

After it boiling, put the hot mint. Cook for 2-3 minutes and close the fire.

Note:

  1. If the fermented durian is not sour enough you can add some tamarind .

  2. Wash the fish with the wheat flour to het rid of the stinking smell of the fresh water fish.

  3. If you want a concentrete sauce ,you can cook the sauce until it oncentrete ,and then you put the fish after get a concentrete sauce.
