My Puto Sunday

Happy Monday guys! Hope all is well with you. As usual ,today was a very busy day for me, just have to have this quick post while kiddos are sleeping because i still got lots of things to do, hahaha. But that's how my duty is and i am loving every bit of it. Because life has it's own timeline , so i know for now i have to be focus and dedicated to be full time mom and wife for i can only have them little during these moments, so i have to cherish it. Anyway that's more of a motivational introduction of this post . But that's just part of what i wanted to share to you. what i have today is a food!!!

When i started to become a fulltime mom , i love to eat almost everything that is edible, but of course there are still i don't want too. But as simple as food really makes me happy , super duper! . Yesterday, my partner went to market to buy some veggies, meat , fish , eggs, fishballs, kikiam and fries. And i didn't know that when he came hime he also bought this food that i miss eating soo much ( because in our province we got this neighbor who can make this food) . He bought Puto!!!

Puto is one of the traditional Filipino food that belongs to the group called kakanins . Puto is a steamed rice cake made from rice flour or sticky rice. It's kinda like those cupcakes but stickier and you'll taste its natural flavor. These putos i had was colourful ones and with cheese on top of it. I just love how it tasted and its bite size. Others would want puto to be paired with dinuguan , another filipino dish i like too. These two are known to be like couple foods. There you go, my simple joy. Puto of my Sunday.
