RICE SWEET WITH COCONUT

Good day friends of steemit, today I come with a recipe of sweet rice with coconut is a very typical sweet in venezuela. Coconut rice is a cold dessert that is prepared with water, coconut milk, paper, cinnamon and cloves. It is served with sprinkled cinnamon and optionally grated coconut.

Ingredients:

*2 dried coconuts
*2 cups of rice
*3 cups of sugar
*1 pinch of salt
*1 cinnamon stick
*6 flavoring cloves
*Cinnamon powder to taste

To start with this recipe for rice with coconut, the pulp of the coconuts is boiled in water for 10 minutes, then it is liquefied and strained to obtain the milk of the coconuts.

Prepare the 2 cups of rice with 4 cups of water, cook until it is loose al dente.

Once ready, the rice is mixed with coconut milk, sugar, salt, cinnamon stick and cloves are added.

Stir everything over low heat until the mixture has a pasty consistency.

Let it stand at room temperature for about 10 minutes and then pour it into dessert containers, add the cinnamon powder and refrigerate at least 20 minutes before serving.
