It is another wonderful day in the Garden of Eden, and we are giving thanks for more than enough of everything in this abundant life of freedom!  

We made a delicious feast for our volunteers today, cooking over fire using our handmade earthen rocket stoves in our sustainable outdoor kitchen! As usual, there was more than enough food for everyone, and we are happy to share our abundance with you.

Today we made a beautiful garden greens salad with a great big pot of cheesy broccoli potato soup!

We made a huge pot of bubbly, creamy, yummy, wholesome soup with broccoli, potatoes, mushrooms, and onions over the wood burning rocket stoves. Cooking outside over fire is primally satisfying!

After the veggies got fork tender from simmering in the broth, we stirred in handfuls of cheese to make it an even creamier, luscious soup! 

Today's salad had a bed of garden greens including kale, beet greens, and arugula. We topped it with chopped yellow squash, onions, zucchini, sliced mushrooms, shredded carrot, cauliflower, and wee golden yellow tomatoes. 

Each person could customize their individual portion with seeds, nuts, dried fruits, and dressing according to their tastes. 

We made ham on the side for anyone who wanted a more substantial meal. 

Food is important, and we hope to inspire people to really take time to eat, enjoy it, and share it with someone you love. We also hope to inspire more and more sustainable practices in regards to food!
