Spicy Tomato Crab • [My simple seafood recipe]

This is my entry for #worldsdailyfood for today’s THURSDAY SEAFOOD.

Just kidding! I just want to share my own seafood recipe.

This Spicy Tomato Crab was one of my “invented” recipe without tasting it, literally I haven’t tasted this one because I am allergic to seafoods specially to crabs since birth! 🤣

I tried eating crabs few years ago because I was so curious why everyone love crabs so much, so I took two dose of antihistamine before eating. But four hours later it was useless, my allergies are starting to attack me. There was like a red map of the world all over my body, the itchy rashes was from my scalp to the sole of my feet. I was so dizzy and I can’t breath, I thought Im gonna die. Hahaha! But here I am now, still alive and kicking! 😂
Oh by the way, I experienced that 3 times. Lol!

So... going back to the recipe, a friend visited me and a as welcome lunch I prepared it for her.

I have here two big crabs which I precook (steamed), cut each in half and cracked the shells for easy way of peeling it out.

A can of diced organic tomato, 5 cloves minced garlic, butter, green chili, and Chinese celery.

In a hot pan, put the butter followed by minced garlic and saute the crab. Pour in the can of diced organic tomato, toss a bit and add the Chinese celery, green chili, ground black pepper, salt, and chili flakes for the spice.

When all ingredients are mixed together, let it stay in the fire for about 10minutes and when it turns dry, these crabs are ready for serving.

But I let my friend to taste it first if I did not missed some of the ingredients, and she said it was perfect.

Arrange each crab in a plate to look more appetizing. Perfect with hot plane rice. Yum! 😋

This dish was very quick and easy to prepare, it took me for about 30 minutes only.
