Chinese Vegetable Fried Rice ~ PICS & VIDEO
This is an easy and healthy Chinese vegetable fried rice recipe. This is way better than take out Chinese food and you can use leftover vegetables. Fried rice is one of my favorites. VIDEO RECIPE at the end of the post. Enjoy.
How to Make Chinese Vegetable Fried Rice
INGREDIENTS:
4 cups cooked jasmine rice
1 cup diced yellow onion
4 garden onions - chopped white and green
1 cup diced celery
1 cup diced carrot
1 cup bell pepper
1 cup frozen peas
1 tsp. chopped red chillies - optional
2 eggs
1 tbsp. minced garlic
3 tbsp. soy sauce
4 tbsp. oyster sauce
1 tsp. sesame oil
avocado oil
Have everything prepped before cooking.
Make the rice the night before, refrigerate and then bring to room temp right before cooking.
Add couple tbsp. oil to medium heat wok.
Whisk eggs, cook for a couple minutes while chopping fine. Remove from the wok and set to the side.
In wok on high heat add oil, onions, minced garlic, celery, carrot and bell peppers.
Stir and cook for 3-5 minutes.
Add peas, white garden onions, red chilies and stir for one minute.
Add rice, eggs, green onions and soy sauce and oyster sauce.
Stir until well combined.
Add sesame oil, stir again and serve.
Enjoy.
