Duck with oranges in red wine
ingredients:
- duck
- 2 oranges
- 3 sour apples
- 2 onions
- half a bottle of red wine
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- spices, thyme, cumin, pepper, cinnamon - 0,5 tsp, 6 pieces of cloves
- salt to taste
1. Duck cut into portions. Add spices, wine and refrigerate for two hours for marinating.
2. Doing these steps until marinate duck . Cut off a thin top layer of orange peel and cut into thin strips. Add to pots with cold water and bring to a boil. Water is drained, leave the peel. Orange pulp from clear white skin and cut into slices.
3. Heat the sugar in a pot with the vinegar until sugar is not dissolved. Mix the starch with two tablespoons of wine. Add it to the pots. Add 100 grams wine and chopped peel and remove from heat.
4. Remove the pieces of duck from the marinade and fry in the hot oil and butter over high heat for 2-3 minutes.
5. Cut slices of apples and onions. Put it together with orange slices and pieces of duck in a sleeve, pour the sauce there. Put bake it in the oven for 1- 1.5 hours at 200 degrees Celsius.
6. Serve this dish hot with rice noodles or rice.
