Kombucha brewing batch #2!!!

From left to right:
Raspberry ginger, ginger only , strawberry lemon juice, blueberry raspberry which is my favorite, and a new one aprium ginger!

This gallon of kombucha brewed the first fermentation for 12 days and was bottled for 2 days before put in fridge.

I was not sure about the baby scoby from first batch, so I used both of the scobys I had in 1 gallon jug and it was a success!

Kombucha for the week!:D

Currently have 2 gallons fermenting!
Cant wait!!!

I had this delicious half black/half yerba mate brew going and I added fresh blackberries for the secondary fermentation. Everything was great except it got way over-pressurized and when I opened the first bottle, it exploded all over my kitchen/ceiling/self - at 2 AM on Thanksgiving eve.

Haha had a similar event with some wine I was making while back...glass grenade exploded and dark colored wine was everywhere on carpet, walls, and ceiling. Had no idea until next morning, looked like blood everywhere lol. During 2nd fermentation make sure to open the bottles every couple days. Blackberry sounds legit! Will be my next batch!:D

It was great, just tart enough without being overly sweet... that sounds like a nightmare!

I want to tray drink kambucha. Where we can find it. Please give me more information

I bought a scoby from amazon, a gallon jug, and some fresh tea leaves. Brew up almost a gallon of black tea, approx. 1 cup of sugar, and a cup of original flavored kombucha or from previous batch, insert scoby, cover with cloth and rubber band..wait 10 days :-)
