Cooking can be like creating an artwork

Kochen kann wie das herstellen eines Kunstwerkes sein

Today my father made a very beautiful and tasty potato artwork. Just make cuts into the potatoes (before putting them into the stove) and then put oil, salt and some herbs (like rosemary, thyme and/or caraway) on the potatoes. It is very simple, but tasty and beautiful as well :)

Heute hat mein Vater ein wunderschönes leckeres Kartoffelkunstwerk gemacht. Einfach ein paar Schnitte in die Kartoffeln machen (bevor sie in den Ofen kommen) und dann noch Öl, Salz und ein paar Kräuter (wie Rosmarin, Thymian und/oder Kümmel) drauf geben. Es ist sehr einfach, aber schmackhaft und schön :)

Eat healthy and most importantly enjoy eating, to reconnect to yourself and nature! :)

Esst gesund und habt vor allem Spaß am Essen, um euch mit euch selbst und der Natur wieder zu verbinden! :)

I will make a batch of these today, Rosemary and potatoes have been a staple in my kitchen but this cutting technique is new to me. It looks absolutely lovely!

Do you parboil the potatoes?
