How to cook delicious candied pineapple
The first time I tried cooking one of these dishes from Aceh, even though I was an Acehnese and had often heard the name of this food. It turns out that candied pineapple is usually eaten as a counterweight to fatty dishes such as goat curry. And I also just know the properties are very good.
Ingredients
• 1 pineapple
• 5 red chilies, thinly sliced
• 6 cm cinnamon
• 2 mace flowers
• 3 clove sticks
• 3 cardamom fruit
• 120 grams of sugar / according to taste
•Salt
Step to make it
• Heat a skillet, add sugar. Heat the sugar to brown, while stirring.
• add water, just enough. Let it boil.
• After boiling, add the sliced red chili, cardamom, cinnamon and cloves.
• Stir well, then add pineapple. Stir everything until boiling.
• Add salt and serve ☺️
