Dock, now there's a easily overlooked plant in America!
Nice use of it. I'll be doing a post in THE EDIBLE OUTDOORS on it soon, and another on burdock (cockle burr).
Good to see you making great use of plants most don't even consider!!!!

Thanks for the support, @papa-pepper! We've found that very few can even identify yellow dock, much less know about it's incredible healing properties. We love to introduce people to this amazing plant by incorporating it into our cooking.
Burdock is another amazing plant--looking forward to your posts. It's said that burdock roots and yellow dock roots, along with sheep sorrel leaves, turkey rhurbarb root, and slippery elm bark can eradicate cancer. We're dealing with super powers of healing here!!

Yeah dock had been on my radar for a few years, and I'm aiming at the root of that burdock. I used to think that burdock was only good for winding up with unintentional dreadlocks after a romp in the woods. Who knew there was so much more to the plant???
