Walmart Chicken - 445
I was disappointed in the Walmart chicken I bought. It smelled very good and since the clerk was very eager to help me I asked him if it was as good as it smelled. He said he liked the chicken so I bought it. It did not seem as good as a normal rotisserie chicken like I have had at Meijers and I think Kroger.
It did OK for sandwiches but still not as good as the other rotisserie chickens.
It kind of had a chemical flavor to it and I wasn't impressed with the list of ingredients. I only paid $5 but I would have rather paid $6 for a chicken from somewhere else.
It did look better in person than in the pic.

Probably had a lot of chemicals, even when growing up. LOL.
LOL I think it was the newly added chemicals I tasted but who knows. Seems like people would buy more if it was less Frankenstein.
I don't know. When I was in the States is seemed that most Americans when they went for food they wanted to have "a lot, good flavor, cheap". Healthy didn't seem to be much of a consideration. LOL.
I didn't realize how bad it was over here but I have heard we have exported some of our bad dietary habits.
Did you try any of our bread while you were here? Almost all of our bread has sugar in it but I have heard they have a lot of bread with no sugar added in Europe.
Most Americans are broke so they do try and save money on food.
Yeah honey bread!!! Over here they give bread with not sugars added.
Honey bread sounds yummy!
It seems crazy that about 99% of our bread has sugar. I think honey is a lot healthier than sugar.
They don't give honey bread over here. In fact I had never seen any before going to The States. Honey in bread is not really healthier than sugar. All the living bacteria etc are dead, what's left is almost pure sugar.
Honey has some minerals unlike sugar. Honey butter is extremely good. I have had that before on pita bread.
I think I've also read that honey doesn't cause blood sugar spikes as bad as regular sugar does.
I think the best bread I ever had was cranberry walnut that I toasted. I think it got discontinued though. :(
Probably had a
Lot of chemicals, even
When growing up. LOL.

I'm a bot. I detect haiku.
Oh no that sucks:(
I've never bought meat from walmart.
But most of their food is so cheap!
I buy quite a bit of frozen dinners from Walmart. They are pretty good on price although Aldi is cheaper.
Ouh!! Never heard of Aldi:P
do you guys have Piggly wiggly or smtg? LOL i remember that store from the time I went in South Carolina. Oh and Publix.
Aldi is very cheap. You should stop in there next time you're in the States. They'll probably be in Canada eventually but right now they are busy taking over the USA.
I think Piggly Wiggly is in the south. I will have to stop in one if I ever see it. I think I was in a Publix in Florida when I was a kid.
awwwww omg YES please stop at one and making a steemit post about it;)
LOL i just googled Aldi:P Franklin street it is? HAHAHAH #StalkingAintEasy ;)
I am such a slacker compared to you. lol
I guess next time I go there I will at least try and get a picture of my receipt.
Are you far from the USA border?
Looks over cooked but for $5 you can't expect much.
Yeah I think it was a little but it still had a chemical taste to it and the ingredients list looked unappealing.
Costco is the king of cheap rotisserie chicken. If only they would take our CBNT for one.
