Cut the acorn squash in half.
Scoop out the seeds with a spoon.

Place the acorn squash on a dish with a little water. Put it in the microwave and cook for about ten minutes.

Add salt, cinnamon, pepper, and nutmeg. You can also add butter and maple syrup. Put the acorn squash back in the microwave and cook for another five minutes.
