Culinary Art: Mini pinchos

Greetings to the steemit community; Today I make my first publication about food, the art of cooking is something delicate and necessary, not all are made for the kitchen because it requires concentration, patience and a lot of love so that the simple action of cooking and preparing a dish becomes art and have the strength not only to feed the stomach but also our hearts.

With the title of Culinary Art I start a new path in my blog, a new category to exploit my culinary potential, I will bring you with this title recipes, tip events and recommendations for the kitchen. Already with experiences in food events, and now I'm doing a professional cooking course to expand my knowledge and thus be able to delight them with my dishes full of love. The recipe that I bring to you is mini pinchos, it does not bring any difficulty to prepare, you just need the ingredients and a lot of patience.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 red paprika
  • 1 green paprika
  • 1 large calabarin.
  • 200 toothpicks.
  • 250gr of beef.
  • 250gr of chicken breast.
  • 150ml of vegetable oil.
  • salt and pepper to taste.

PROCESS

  • The first step is to chop the chicken and the meat in small pieces of approximately 2 cm, not very large not very small; place them in a plate to put them to marinate with salt and pepper.

  • Second step is to clean the vegetables, open the peppers to remove the seeds and the inner white membrane to avoid the bitter taste that it has.

  • Third step is to chop the peppers and the zucchini in the form of 1 cm symmetrical dice. It is very important that all the vegetables are of the same size for the part of the presentation as can be seen in the previous image.

  • Now with the ready ingredients touch the last step that is the preparation of the skewers; grab a toothpick and go embedding in this order: red paprika, meat, zucchini, chicken and green paprika at the end. I place the peppers at the ends of the skewers to play with the colors and have a better presentation of the dish.

COOKING

Already the skewers armed applying patience and concentration, we only have the cooking process, for this it is necessary to have a clean and well greased with oil, tweezers to turn and remove skewers fire. You can also make them grilled but as they are very small they can fall between the cracks of the grill. It is important to take into account the different cooking times of the chicken and the meat, the chicken needs more time than the meat, so you have to leave it a little longer the skewers in the fire to avoid that the chicken is raw or make them separated, a batch of chicken skewers and another batch of meat skewers to avoid the chicken being raw or the meat burned.

With the hot skewers freshly taken from the fire, with the protein well cooked and the vegetables al dentes we only have to place. I placed them on a square plate accompanied in the center with a smoked aubergine cream ready to displease them and enjoy them.

I hope you have liked this simple recipe to prepare, you do not need any culinary technique to do it alone as I said before a lot of patience at the time of putting together the skewers and the part of roasting them, this is an ideal recipe for family reunions, parties and sharing with friends . Later I will share the recipe for smoked aubergine cream.
